Kate Walsh spotted at Crown Perth for empowering Galentine’s Day afternoon

US actor Kate Walsh looked pretty in pink for a luxury Galentine’s Day afternoon at Crown Perth.

The 56-year-old, known for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy, 13 Reasons Why and Emily in Paris, attended the inaugural event at the prominent venue at the weekend.

Held in the stunning surroundings of TWR at Crown Towers, Walsh was in attendance with some of WA’s important women in celebration of female friendship ahead of Valentine’s Day on Wednesday.

Walsh looked glowing in a hot pink blazer which she paired with a matching vest and shorts and blue heels.

The star kept her accessories to a minimum but chose to make a statement with large sparkly silver star earrings.

Walsh took to Instagram following the event shouting out her gal pals.

“Such a great day with my gals #galentinesday high tea thanks @crownperth 💖💖💖 & @dr.debcohenjones for a gorgeous chat about why our female friendships are so critical…and fun. A lotta fun.’

Walsh was photographed looking relaxed and happy as she enjoyed the day surrounded by women.

She was also seen enjoying the Crown poolside and soaking up the sunshine in a pink bikini designed by Perth label Ambra Maddalena.

The event, hosted by renowned local women’s health specialist Dr Deb Cohen-Jones, sent the message that women can uplift and support each other as they celebrate the importance of female friendship.

Walsh swapped Hollywood for Down Under in 2020 after falling in love with Aussie farmer Andrew Nixon.

She has since called Perth’s western suburbs home, making appearances at some of our city’s prime events like the Mary Poppins premiere and West Australian Opera shows.

Last month, Walsh was snapped lapping up the summer with Mr Nixon on Swanbourne Beach and was seen with friends at a Perth restaurant over the festive break.
