Six people, including six-month-old baby, killed in California ‘massacre’ that is likely gang-related
At least six people including a teenage mother and her six-month-old baby have been killed in an “early morning massacre” in Goshen, California.
Initial reports suggested an active shooter was in the area because of the number of shots being heard, police said.
Officers found six victims, including two in the street and one in the doorway of the home where the gunfire reportedly occurred just after 3.30am on Monday (local time), Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said.

The 17-year-old mother and six-month-old child were both shot in the head, Boudreaux said.
At least one man was taken to the hospital but later died.
Boudreaux confirmed there were some survivors of the incident.
“We do have family that has been escorted from the scene, we do have survivors,” he said.
Investigators have yet to determine how they survived what he said was a “horrific massacre”.
Police said the attack does not appear to be a random act of violence and may be linked to gang activity.
It comes a week after deputies executed a narcotics search warrant at the home.
Detectives are looking for at least two suspects, the sheriff’s office said.
