There is no shortage of television shows that find inspiration in the high-paced world of emergency medicine, but few are quite as uniquely Australian as RFDS, the series inspired by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
The mix of medical emergency, the harshness of the Australian outback and lots of light aircraft is fertile ground for all sorts of dramatic situations and RFDS star Justine Clarke says the writers rarely have to dig too deep for storylines.
