The 78th NBA regular season tips off tonight, and over the next six months 30 teams will push through a demanding 82-game schedule shooting for the playoffs and NBA Championship. The first five days of the 2023-24 regular season will feature 10 national television games including a pair of doubleheaders each on NBAonTNT and ESPNNBA plus one on NBATV.
The NBA is expanding their league App to contain more content with the NBA App featurinng “more than 10,000 additional hours of programming to entertain fans throughout the 2023-2024 season,” according to a press release.
The veteran stars are shining brightest opening night when the Los Angeles Lakers tip off the watch and wager action at Denver against the defending NBA champion Nuggets, who will receive their championship rings ahead of the rematch of last season’s Western Conference Finals. That game is followed by another Western Conference showcase between the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors. Veteran All-Stars Bradley Beal of Phoenix and Chris Paul of Golden State make regular-season debuts with new teams, and Paul faces the team for whom he played the previous three seasons.
