WA’s school funding share from Federal Government could increase through no-disadvantage clause

WA has secured a no-disadvantage clause in a school funding deal with the Albanese Government, which means the State will net hundreds of millions more for education if the eastern States secure a higher share.

Federal Education Minister Jason Clare and his WA counterpart, Tony Buti, signed a landmark deal to bring WA up to 100 per cent of the Schooling Resource Standard set by the Gonski review.
