The virtual showroom, which was held on April 30 and formatted as a television show, focused on accessory, sportswear, and swimwear categories—a new addition reflecting current industry trends introduced in its 2023 edition.

Hosted by Bàrbara Arqué, a journalist for 3Cat and presenter on channel 324, the event allowed 16 brands to introduce their collections aimed at reaching a broader international audience and forging new partnerships. The participating brands, all of Catalan origin, included Leap Concept, Recordar, Nkn, Kris Mïkita, Robin Collection, Madi, Mimètil Bcn, Yerse, Enith, Escorpion, Bad Habits, Studio Arde, Iodena, The LĒF Company, Mus & Bombon, and Designers Society.

“This event offers a remarkable opportunity for Catalan fashion brands to unveil their latest collections and provides an extraordinary chance for international buyers to discover incredible talent,” said Albert Castellanos i Maduell, secretary of enterprise and competitiveness of the Government of Catalonia.

Focusing on the environmental sustainability of the offerings, the economist and politician highlighted, “Most of these Catalan fashion brands acknowledge the importance of sustainability in their business models, and are increasingly focusing on circularity and adopting various sustainable practices.”

Although the event, which was established in 2016 within the framework of the Barcelona catwalk to promote local talent, has concluded its latest edition, the platform will remain active until May 30 to allow brands to continue showcasing documents and videos of interest, aiming to further facilitate business agreements with industry professionals.
