But now a new entry mechanism – now live on The Lott’s website – means you can potentially add $20 million to your Powerball win.

Australians can now pick up a “Quick Combo” entry, which gives you an entry in Thursday’s $100 million Powerball draw as well as Saturday’s $20 million Gold Lotto Superdraw.

“Your favourite lottery games are serving up back-to-back huge draws! It’s a double delight with the chance to win some incredible division one prizes across Powerball and Saturday Lotto,” The Lott says on its website.

“On Thursday 3 August (Draw 1420), Powerball has skyrocketed to a huge $100 Million. Then on Saturday 5 August (Draw 4387), Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw is ready to show us why Saturday Lotto is the game that makes the most millionaires.

“Can’t decide what to play? Quick Combos keep it simple by bundling together entries into these unmissable draws. It’s the convenient way to get multiple chances to win.

“All Quick Combos randomly generate your numbers and enter you into the next draw for each game.”

On the Lott website, players are reminded of the odds on their chances of winning.

The chance of winning the Powerball jackpot with one standard game is 134,490,400:1.

The chance of winning the Saturday Lotto jackpot with one standard game is 8,145,060:1.
