11 students from Bathinda selected to get coaching for JEE from CSRL

BATHINDA: Hindustan Petroleum Mittal Energy Limited also known as Guru Gobind Singh Refinery has selected 11 students from government schools of district Bathinda to get them coaching for JEE Main and JEE Advance to get admissions in IIT and NITs. Out of the 11 students selected for coaching at Delhi, the five are from the meritorious school Bathinda, three are from Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya, one each from government smart school Bhucho, government schools Bangi Kalan and Shaheed Sandeep Singh school Bathinda.

The refinery has collaborated with Delhi-based Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL) for the coaching of aspiring students.
The 11 students have been selected from 600 students from 22 schools of the district. An exam was conducted for 600 students and 11 could qualify. In all refinery management under CSR is working in 42 schools to support their further studies and collaboration with CSRL was made in November 2022. CSRL is running super 30 projects and earlier two girl students Anmol Kaur from village Phool and Gurvinder Kaur from village Baath in Bathinda from Bathinda got selected for coaching late last year and cleared JEE Main. Now they will get admissions in some IITs or NITs in next month.
