An 83-year-old grandmother, who stunned the world with an X-rated interview about her love life with her 37-year-old husband, has made a shock announcement.

The couple met on Facebook in 2019 and – despite their 46-year age gap – tied the knot a year later in Ibriham’s native Egypt.

The grandmother made headlines around the world in 2020 when she appeared on ITV’s This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

She made the hosts blush when she shared explicit details of her passionate nights with Ibriham in a segment called “My Egyptian Toy Boy Isn’t After My Money”.

“The first night – pretty rough, it was rough,” she told the show.

“Nobody had been near me for 35 years, I thought I was a virgin again.

“The thing is, I couldn’t walk the next day.”

The couple wed towards the end of 2020.

Now, after more than two years of marriage, their intimate relationship has come to an end.

Jones has revealed to British tabloid magazine, Closer, that constant arguing led to the downfall.

“I never expected to fall in love with someone 46 years younger than me, but I did. I adored everything about Mohamed,” she told Closer.

“But it became hard work.

“We used to have a great sex life but then, rather than making love, we ended up arguing all the time about anything and everything.

“I can’t be doing with that. I’m not a lovesick teenager. I’m 83.”

She added that she isn’t missing her ex “at all” and is mostly annoyed that he took the “tempura battered prawns” she had prepared for dinner that night.

Jones has also introduced a new companion into her life – her cat, Mr Tibbs.

She described Mr Tibbs, who she got just days after Ibriham moved out, as “perfect”.

“He never complains, is very quiet and beautiful to look at – I adore him,” she told Closer.

“He’s very happy here and doesn’t create a mess.”
