BSP supremo Mayawati on Tuesday evening removed nephew Akash Anand as her political heir and from party post till he becomes “mature”. Akash Anand was designated as the National Coordinator of the BSP.In a recent tweet, BSP chief announced the decision regarding the role of Akash Anand within the party. Mayawati said that she had initially designated Akash Anand as the National Coordinator of the BSP and her successor. However, considering the broader interests of the party and its movement, she has decided to temporarily relieve him of these crucial responsibilities until he achieves full maturity.
Akash’s father Anand Kumar will continue to be in the party and fulfill responsibilities accordingly.
She added, “While his father Anand Kumar will continue to fulfill his responsibilities in the party and the movement as before. Therefore, the leadership of BSP is not going to shy away from making every kind of sacrifice in the interest of the party and the movement and in taking forward the caravan of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar.”
