ABU DHABI, May 6: Al-Qadisiya Club’s flag football team secured the Arab Club Cup Championship title in a recent tournament held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, triumphing over Al-Masry in the final match with a commanding score of 44-12.

Sheikh Mishal Talal Al-Fahad, former Vice President of the Asian American Football Confederation, commended the exceptional performance demonstrated by the players of Al-Qadisiya Football Club. He attributed their success in clinching the Arab Club Championship Cup to their remarkable skills and teamwork, surpassing other participating clubs despite incorporating experienced foreign players.

Highlighting the significance of this achievement, Al-Fahd emphasized that participation in such tournaments serves as a crucial catalyst for players to compete in upcoming continental and international events. He particularly noted the importance of preparing for the qualifiers leading to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, especially since flag football has been included as a sport in the scheduled Olympic Games from 2028 onwards.
