Amitabh Bachchan has acquired a parcel of land in The Saraayu Project, a 7-star mixed-use development in Ayodhya, being developed by Mumbai-based developer The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). The value of the the 10,000 square feet plot is pegged at Rs 14.5 crore, according to Hindustan Times. Ayodhya has seen a massive surge in real estate interest ahead of the consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya , scheduled for 22nd January. Speaking about his purchase of plot of in Ayodhya, Big B said that he is looking forward to building his home in the “global spiritual capital This is the commencement of a heartfelt journey into the soul of Ayodhya, where tradition and modernity seamlessly coexist.”

The Saraayu Project, a plotted development project, is being developed by The House of Abhinandan Lodha. The project spans 51 acres.

Spread over 51 acres, the project will includes residential plots, villas on a total 31 acres and even high-rise luxury apartments on 15 acres in the holy city.

The project will also have a five-star palace hotel in collaboration with the Brookfield group-owned Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts. Brookfield Group-owned the Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts has entered a partnership with House of Abhinandan Lodha to develop a luxury modern palace hotel in Ayodhya.

The luxury hotel in Ayodhya will be part of the The House of Abhinandan Lodha larger development in the Saraayu Project. The 100-key luxury hotel in Ayodhya is expected to entail investment of over Rs 450 crore and is expected to be fully operational by March 2028.

The hotel in Ayodhya will be spread over a five-acre land parcel and will be developed around the theme of Indian culture and heritage. “This venture not only signifies the transformation that Ayodhya is witnessing, but also sets the stage for opulence and hospitality that respects Ayodhya’s rich legacy.
