Traffic police are also on high alert to manage any potential disruptions caused by the protests.

An officer said, “We have received verbal orders from senior officers to be on the ground and ensure there are no traffic disruptions or law and order issues.”

A senior officer said, “Our main focus is to ensure that no group disrupts the city or reaches sensitive zones in the New Delhi district. We have also increased barricades on roads as part of these efforts.”
