Attorney-General John Quigley will “double down” on efforts to keep the father of one-punch victim Danny Hodgson in Perth, with the expiration of his temporary visa and forced return to his native UK looming.

Peter Hodgson is helping his son with ongoing rehabilitation and physiotherapy, working up to 60 hours a week to contribute to ongoing medical costs, but his visa expires on October 17.
