An Australian reality TV star and influencer has shared a devastating and unexpected health update.
Too Hot To Handle contestant Harry Jowsey announced his shocking cancer diagnosis in a video posted to TikTok on Saturday.
The 26-year-old explained his latest appointment with his dermatologist had discovered skin cancer.
“I’ve had this on my shoulder for like a year or two and I had no idea,” he said.
Although Jowsey said the experience was “very scary,” the influencer still reassured his five million followers on TikTok he was alright.
“I’m going to be all good, I’m going to be okay,” he said.
The controversial heartthrob explained his motivation for posting the video was to give others important reminders to look after their health.
“Be a little bit more responsible because that’s what I’ve got to do now and it’s very scary,” he said.
“If you’re a freckly little frog like me, go get a mole map and get your body checked because you never know.”
Jowsey encouraged fans to wear sunscreen and to get their skin checked.
“I just want to save and protect one of you guys out there,” he said.
In the comments, the LA-based Aussie star revealed he has surgery on Tuesday to remove the skin cancer.
Well-wishers flooded the comment section.
