A single woman has told of her “horror” dating story after an awkward encounter led to her not hearing from her date again.
Jade, from Queensland, went on her first date with a man at a restaurant last week.

The pair hit it off over dinner — with a possibility of a second date.
However, 24 hours after their first meet up, she unexpectedly ran into him… with a new date.
Speaking to her friend Ashy Bines, a fitness influencer from the Gold Coast, Jade explained how everything unfolded.
“I’m newly single, went on a date, it went well… We went out for a nice dinner,” she explained.
The following day, Jade went out on another date with a new man.
“I’m single… I’m single so don’t judge me,” Jade insisted, leaving Ashy laughing.
“So the next day, someone else wanted to take me out on a date so I went along.
“We went out for dinner… but one day later, 24 hours later… Guess who’s out at dinner?”
Ashy replied as she burst out laughing: “The last date sees her with the new date.”
Jade appeared lost for words when she bumped into her first date at a restaurant, along with his group of friends.
Ashy confessed: “I would be mortified if this happened to me.
“Awkward.”
She asked Jade if her first date had spoken to her since, to which she responded: “No… He hasn’t messaged me again.”
Jade jokingly declared: “I’m not dating anymore” after the encounter left her red-faced.
Ashy shared her friend’s story on her social media page, along with the caption: “I’ve been with my husband for 16 years so I love hearing my single friends’ dating stories.”
