Australian influencer Greta May reveals how she shares money with friends

Greta May has gone viral on TikTok after sharing her experience doing just that.

The influencer transfers $15 a week into a savings account she shares with two of her best friends.

The three girls live in different states and decided to jump on the idea when they heard that other friends were doing it.

The money they accumulate in the shared account goes towards expenses like flights and accommodation for a girl’s trip to see each other.

Greta told news.com.au the friendship budget has been the “best thing” because not having enough cash is no longer an excuse for not catching up.

“If we are in the same state for a couple of days we catch up, and because our money builds over time, when we see each other, it is like it’s free,” she said.
