Baby boom in WA burbs to drives huge demand for childcare centres as subsidies boost intake

WA’s cohort of children aged under five years old is set for a classroom-sized boost every week for the next eight years, driving investor demand for childcare centres.

Commercial real estate agency Colliers forecasts 6.5 per cent growth in children in the age group by 2031, adding about 11,000 to the existing cohort of 169,100 youngsters in WA.
