Is this bride a bridezilla or just a perfectionist trying to help her guests choose their wedding outfits?
An American bride and budget wedding planner, Betti Adams, has sparked fury over an Instagram post that people have labelled “controlling”.
Betti shared a video of her fiancé painting coloured dots under the “dress code” section of their wedding invitations.

The colours were intended to guide the guests as they chose their outfits to wear to the wedding.
The bride captioned the video: “Not one single printer could print your wedding colours accurately enough, so your fiancé painted all the colours on every single invitation”.
People in the comments were divided over the bride having included specific colours under the dress code.
“Why do you want to control what your guests wear? Pretty controlling. Go see a therapist about your issues,” said one.
“Expecting people to spend money on new outfits for your wedding colour scheme is rude,” said another.
“This is so annoying,” said another.
Others thought the bride was being helpful and defended her decision.
“The comments on this post are so hateful. She is playing to host her guests, she has a vision, she’s trying to bring it to life,” argued one.
“I attended a wedding last year with the same dress code and it was absolutely beautiful,” said another.
“This is so helpful,” added a third.
Another bride-to-be recently sparked a debate after planning to give guests 60 cent item as wedding favours.
The woman shared in a Facebook group that she was thinking of giving cans of macaroni and cheese as thank-you gifts to her wedding attendees.
“For wedding favours, did anyone do like a can food thing/Mac ‘n’ cheese?” she began her post, in the “Weddings on a tight budget” Facebook group.
“I know it’s not super healthy but I’m going for fun and out of the box LOL”.
“I am trying to cut costs and honestly think ribbon plus 100 cans of food would be okay,” she wrote.
Her post attracted a lot of attention, with some commenters wondering if the bride was kidding around.
“This is a joke, right?” said one.
“This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read,” said another.
“It’s giving recession instead of reception,” said a third.
