Browns TE David Njoku questionable vs. Ravens with burn injuries

Browns tight end David Njoku is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens after Njoku suffered burn injuries to his face and arm during a household accident, the team announced Saturday.

Njoku’s injuries occurred when lighting a fire pit in his backyard, and he is OK, according to a league source.

The Browns promoted second-year tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden from the practice squad.

Also promoted for Sunday’s game was quarterback P.J. Walker, who becomes the team’s emergency quarterback. Starter Deshaun Watson is questionable with a shoulder injury that kept Watson out of most of the practice week.

Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson is in line to start Sunday’s game, but the Browns did not update Watson’s status Saturday and have until Sunday morning before making a game decision on Watson.
