The Bihar School Examination Board on Saturday declared the results for Bihar Intermediate (class 12) exams 2024. According to the data released by the boards, the total pass percentage of students has improved from last year, reaching 87.21%.
The BSEB also declared the list of Bihar Board Inter 2024 toppers from each stream. Mrityunjay Kumar from Siwan topped in the Science stream with a score of 481 out of 500, achieving a percentage of 96.2%. Tushar Kumar from Dariapur, Saran, secured the top position in the Arts stream with a score of 482 out of 500, resulting in a percentage of 96.4%. Priya Kumari from Sheikhpura topped in the Commerce stream with a score of 478 out of 500, resulting in a percentage of 95.6%.
The Board also announced that students who are not satisfied with the marks they have secured, can apply for scrutiny of marks, or to sit for compartmental exams.
The BSEB however clarified that this year special-cum-compartmental exams will be organised, unlike previous years. The special exams for improvement of marks will be held on the same dates as compartmental exam, but separately.
Additionally, the Board announced that students who sit for the compartmental exams will no longer have the term ‘Compartment’ written on their marks statements this year onwards. This change is in line with the updated norms of the New Education Policy (NEP).
Candidates who are not satisfied with the marks they have scored, will be able to register for the Bihar Board class 12 scrutiny and compartmental exams starting March 28, 2024. Last date to apply is April 4, 2024.
Here’s how to register for BSEB Inter exam scrutiny, compartmental exams 2024:
Step 1: Start by visiting the official website of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
Step 2: Once on the homepage, locate and click on the link labelled ‘BSEB 12th scrutiny form 2024′ or ‘BSEB class 12th compartment exam’.
Step 3: On the new registration panel that appears, select the type of exam and your district.
Step 4: Enter your roll code, roll number, and fill in the captcha as prompted.
Step 5: After filling in the necessary details, proceed by clicking on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 6: Next, complete the Bihar 12th scrutiny or compartment application for the year 2024 by providing the required information.
Step 7: Once the application is filled out, make sure to pay the required fee.
Step 8: After payment, save the confirmation page for your records.
