BSEM Class 10 Exams: Important statistics
In 2024, 37,715 students, including 19,087 boys and 18,628 girls, took Manipur Class10 Board exam amidst heavy security measures. The exams were conducted from March 15 to April 3, 2024, in a pen-paper mode across 154 centers, including 63 centers in the hills and 91 in the valley. In 2023, 37,870 students appeared for the exams, with 31,365 candidates qualifying, taking the pass percentage of 82.82%. The previous year, 2022, saw a slightly higher number of students. The years 2021 and 2020 were significantly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2021, all 47,208 students who appeared for Manipur Class 10 Board exam, were promoted, resulting in 100% pass rate. Conversely, in 2020, the pass percentage was notably lower at 65.34%, with 25,084 out of 38,390 students passing the Board exam. Looking back to 2019, 37,138 students appeared for the exams, and 27,740 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 74.69%.
