Canadian denim brand Duer opens new store in Los Angeles

Founded in 2015 in Vancouver by Canadian Gary Lenett, Duer denim brand finally set up a shop in the Larchmont Village neighborhood. The brand had tried La Brea Boulevard 18 months earlier, but failed to find its audience.

The new Duer store is arriving in a dynamic neighborhood, with the recent openings of men’s apparel brand Corridor New York and natural beauty specialist Credo. These new addresses join Beyong Yoga, chic shoe brand Rothy’s, beauty salons Skin Laundry and Malin+Goetz. A retail life which attracts young families and moms all day long and make Larchmont Village a cosy and healthy neighborhood.

Launched with a first line of men’s jeans called ‘Performance Denim’, designed to be comfortable for travel and made with lightweight-super-stretch fabric, the Duer brand has since expanded its denim range to include slim, relaxed, jogger, skinny and high-rise shapes priced from $129 to $139. Pants, T-shirts and sweatshirts for men and women complete the selection.

In eight years, the Duer brand has focused on developing the wholesale market and opened six physical boutiques in Canada, including Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Mississauga. Two more boutiques are scheduled to open in Canada in the next six months.
