It’s officially spring, but Cardi B’s new manicure is giving me the chills in the very best way.
Cardi and her stylist Kollin Carter attended The Hollywood Reporter‘s Power Stylists event in Los Angeles on March 27; the pair are one of the celebrity-and-stylist duos on the cover of the magazine. Instead of leaning into springy pastels, the rapper went with slate gray nails covered in translucent 3D crystal charms that make it look like her nails are literally dripping in ice. One one hand, each long, stiletto-shaped nail was painted gray, with the oversized flower-shaped charms applied just below the tips. On the other hand, she wore a variety of gray tones, including a darker taupe shade on her pointer finger, as well as a totally clear ring finger that practically vanished into her studded crystal clutch. I don’t know about you, but I could stare at these nails for hours, and the giant diamond rings only add to the ice queen effect.
Cardi kept the gray vibes going with matching blue-gray contacts and wore her hair in a glamorous updo with soft curls pulled out to frame her face. Queen Elsa from Frozen would absolutely be jealous of this chilly chic look.
