IIM CAT 2023 Admit Card: Here’s how to download
To access the IIM CAT 2023 admit card, follow these steps:
- Visit the examination website at
iimcat.ac.in . - On the homepage, find and click on the link for downloading the IIM CAT 2023 admit card.
- Enter your user ID and password to log in.
- Once logged in, the admit card will appear on the screen.
- Review the details and proceed to download the admit card.
- Prior to the exam day, it’s advisable to print a hard copy of the admit card for reference.

What should you check on the CAT admit card
Candidates should review certain key details on the IIM CAT admit card very carefully after downloading it. Make sure that you verify personal information such as name, email ID, date of birth, photo, and signature. Here are the key details to check:
- The CAT 2023 registration number on the admit card should be the same with that of the registered user ID.
- Check if the chosen CAT test centre reflecting on the admit card is aligned with the exam city specified during the IIM CAT application process.
- After downloading, you must double-check crucial information such as your name, CAT registration number, exam day guidelines, venue, and timings mentioned on the CAT admit card.

CAT 2023 section-wise questions and weightage
The CAT exam is a computer-based test consisting of 66 questions categorized into three sections. Each section is allocated a 40-minute time limit, and there are no breaks between the sections. Here is the section-wise weightage:
- Quantitative Aptitude (QA): 22 questions, 66 marks
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC): 24 questions, 72 marks
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR): 20 questions, 60 marks
- Total Marks: 198
The marks for each correct answer in CAT exam is 3. However, for every incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of 1 mark. However, non-multiple-choice questions do not have any negative marking.

This highly-competitive MBA entrance exam will be held across 300 test centres in 155 locations through three sessions on 26th November.
- Morning session (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM)
