CBSE Webinar: Guidance on Board Exam Protocols |

CBSE Board Exams 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education will hold a live webcast tomorrow, February 16, highlighting the examination and assessment processes to all its stakeholders.
The move is aimed at providing important information on the smooth conduct of class 10 and class 12 board exams 2024. The Webinar is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 2PM, and is expected to be around 90 minutes long.
The webinar will provide comprehensive guidance for centre superintendents, deputy centre superintendents, assistant superintendents, city coordinators, observers, and other relevant officials.
The official notice, released on the website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in, states, “Accordingly, the Board has decided to organize a Live Webcast to explain the Guidelines for Centre Superintendents, Deputy Centre Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, City Coordinators, and Observers, along with the Evaluation Guidelines and the Role and Responsibilities of various functionaries, as per the following schedule: Date: 16th February 2024 (Friday), Time: 2:00 PM, Duration: Approximately 1½ Hours.”
Where and how to watch?
The Board has issued specific instruction on how to be a part of the webinar and watch it:
To ensure smooth participation in the live webcast, schools are requested to take several steps. Firstly, they can access the webcast through one of two methods: either by logging onto the provided link (https://youtube.com/live/T7Je6dEFqI8?feature=share) or by searching for “BoardExams@CBSE” on YouTube. Once connected, schools should ensure they have the necessary equipment, including a screen, sound system, and stable internet connection.
Furthermore, it’s mandatory for all schools to arrange for the live webcast to be supervised by the Principal. This supervision ensures that the event runs smoothly and that all relevant staff members are present. Speaking of staff, all teachers handling Classes IX to XII and other staff involved in examination and evaluation processes should watch the webcast. They are advised to take note of important instructions relevant to their roles.
Additionally, examination centres have received guidelines for Centre Superintendents (CS). These guidelines should be reviewed carefully, and any queries should be directed to CBSE via email at query.exam2024@cbseshiksha.in. Queries will be addressed during the webcast. Even after the webcast, schools can email their doubts to the same email address. These queries will be addressed in the form of FAQs distributed to all examination centres.
Lastly, each school must upload specific information on the ASAR app, which is available for download from the Google Play Store. This information includes a geo-tagged photograph capturing the participants and the total number of participants attending the program.
