Check these exam day guidelines for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 starting tomorrow

The National Testing Agency is going to conduct the Joint Etrance Main Exam (JEE Main) 2024 Session 2 starting tomorrow, April 4, till April 12, 2024. The NTA recently released the admit cards for candidates having their exams on April 4, 5, and 6, on their official webiste at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Candidates can easily access their admit cards by entering their credentials such as their registration number and date of birth, into the portal.From there, they can easily download their admit cards.
The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam will be held in two shifts daily. The first shift is scheduled to run from 9 AM to 12 PM., while the second shift will run from 3 PM. As per NTA instructions, students must bring their JEE Main admit card and a valid government-issued ID to the examination centre. Here is a list of exam day guidelines, candidates are required to follow on the day of the exam:

  • Make sure to reach the test center 30 minutes before the time mentioned in your admit card.
  • If you come late, you won’t be allowed to take the exam.
  • You need your admit card, a recent photo, and a valid photo ID to sit for the JEE Main exam.
  • Don’t bring phones, study materials, or other unauthorized items to the exam center.
  • Diabetic students can bring sugar tablets, fruits, and clear water bottles, but no packed foods like chocolates or sandwiches.
  • Don’t wear clothes with metal parts like buttons or zippers to make security checks easier.
  • Caps, mufflers, and hats are not allowed during the exam.
  • Avoid wearing jewelry like rings, bracelets, or necklaces.
  • Don’t bring items like sunglasses that could disrupt the exam.
