CISCE Results 2024: ICSE, ISC scorecards expected in the second week of May; check past trends, passing criteria and more

CISCE 10th, 12th Result 2024: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is likely to announce the ICSE and ISC Results 2024 in the second week of May. However, an official confirmation from the CISCE is still awaited.
The ICSE exams were held from February 21 to March 28, 2024, while the ISC exams were conducted between February 12 and April 3, 2024.It’s important to note that the Class 12 Chemistry exam was rescheduled from its original date of February 26 to March 21.

Steps to check your ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 Board Exam Results 2024
Step 1. Visit the official website of CISCE at cisce.org
Step 2. Now, click on the ‘Results’, and click on ICSE Board Exam Results 2024 or ISC Board Exams Results 2024. Step 3. Select the course code as ICSE/ISC and enter your login credentials like identification number, date of birth, etc.
Step 4. The result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5. Download and take a printout of the result page for future reference
No compartment exam
In a major change to the exam process, compartment exams have been scrapped from this year onwards. Students who need to improve their marks will now have the option of re-evaluation and rechecking of their answer sheets. Additionally, they can retake a maximum of two subjects for improvement. The results of the re-evaluation process will be available within three weeks.
Passing criteria for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 exams
To pass the ICSE Class 10 exams, students must score at least 33% in both their overall marks (aggregate) and in each individual subject. For ISC Class 12 exams, students need a minimum of 40% in both the total marks (aggregate) and in each individual subject to pass.
ICSE (Class 10) Result 2023
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams continue their tradition of exceptional pass rates. In 2023, an impressive 98.94% of students cleared the exam.
ISC (Class 12) Result 2023
While not quite as high as the ICSE exams, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams maintained an impressive pass rate in 2023. The pass rate for the 2023 exams was 96.93%, marking a slight decrease from the 99.38% recorded in 2022.
