Almost two years since Cleo Smith’s terrifying abduction, her mother has married her partner in a beautiful ceremony.
Photographs, revealed on Saturday, show Cleo alongside her little sister Isla, beaming in gorgeous white gowns.
More happy snaps show Ellie Smith, alongside her now husband Jake Gliddon — who supported her throughout the nightmare 18-day ordeal when Cleo was abducted in 2021.
Ellie wore a stunning A-line gown, with lace embroidery on the bodice and a flowing tulle skirt, while Jake looked dapper in a classic tuxedo get-up.
Congratulations to the family flooded social media, with comments on photos noting how “beautiful” and happy everyone looked and how much the children had grown up.
The pair announced their engagement with photos of a glistening pear-shaped ring about three months after the kidnapping ordeal.
The family was determined to move on from the traumatic incident, move away from Carnarvon and give young Cleo a fresh start.
