COSTA TITCH CAUSE OF DEATH REVEALED

Following Costa Titch’s death, his family voiced their suspicions of foul play. They also shot down allegations the performer had a drug problem or epilepsy.

In the statement, the family alluded to the performer experiencing a heart condition, despite previously claiming he lived a fit and healthy lifestyle.

It read: “Amidst speculations, our team and family have collaborated with pathologists to unveil the true cause of his passing. The post-mortem examination revealed significant strain on Costa’s heart, unbeknownst to him, compounded by enduring stress and fatigue.

“This culmination likely led to an irregular heartbeat, triggering the seizure that claimed life”

In the comment section, Lynn Forbes – the mother of slain rapper AKA – showed her support to the Tsobanoglou family.

Speaking exclusively to The South African on the first anniversary of his death in March, Costa Titch’s mother Lara Langeveld – fondly known as “Mama Titch” – revealed it was “hard” to remember him without having closure. At the time, the singer’s toxicology report was part of a backlog of close to 40,000 outstanding cases, reported EWN.

Toxicology tests are used to decipher if someone has been exposed to certain chemicals or toxins.

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

While Costa Titch’s cause of death has been ruled as natural, his mother previously expressed her concerns.

She said: “I heard my son only died about two hours afterward, yet, Baragwanath [hospital] was only a few kilometres away. Why did they not take him there? Nobody will answer these questions”.

She added: “I accept God took my son, but I cannot accept how he died. What broke me was hearing my son was pleading for help, and that has scarred me for life. I know this country has a high crime rate, but I still want justice for my son”.

“I highly suspect someone hurt my son as he was not on chronic medication, and he was healthy.”
