The partner of a young diver who drowned off the coast of Dawesville last month has been praised for her “extraordinary” effort and “boundless fighting spirit” after finding him unconscious in the water.

Cosi Palmer, who was spearfishing with Sam Hamilton on Sunday, March 24, paid tribute to her partner, who she tried to save.
