Crown Perth’s Silks Chinese restaurant offering all-you-can-eat buffet launching Saturday April 6

Crown Perth’s Silks is launching its first-ever all-you-can-eat buffet on April 6.

Available exclusively for lunch from 12-2pm on the first Saturday of each month, lovers of fine Chinese dining are encouraged to loosen their belt buckles as they enjoy a two-hour Endless Yum Cha experience.

Curated by Silks’ Chef de Cuisine Kwan Cheung, the smorgasbord of premium Cantonese dishes will feature fan favourites, including pork and prawn siu mai, ginger and spring onion dumplings, deep-fried squid with chilli sea salt, and a bevvy of wok-fried options.

To end on a sugar high, diners can select either a taro pancake with white chocolate ice cream, new-style mango pudding, or Portuguese egg tart for dessert.

Crown Perth Executive General Manager, Food & Beverage Emmanuel Benardos relished the opportunity to present Silks’ signature flavours and dishes in a brand new way.

“Endless Yum Cha is the time to be adventurous with your Cantonese dining choices — perhaps you’ve never tried congee and want to delve into our braised dice duck or salted egg congee,” he said.

The key ingredient, Mr Benardos suggested, is that price is largely taken out of the equation.

“This all-you-can-eat offering means guests also don’t have to watch their wallets while they order. They can simply enjoy the food and their company.”

The premium buffet experience starts at $88 per adult including Chinese tea.

No need to leave the kids at home, with Silks offering a $44 option for children.
