Well-known actress Didintle Khunou has scored a role in SABC1’s soapie Generations: The Legacy.

Sunday World reveals that Didintle Khunou will make her appearance on Generations: The Legacy in mid-June.
The publication adds that Khunou will portray the character of Tumelo Gcabashe. Her character is a high-powered financial expert with links to business and criminal elites.
This comes an insider told Zimoja that she was approached by producers and was given an offer she couldn’t resist.
A source close to Khunou tells the publication that she’s only shared the good news with her family and close friends.
“Things were conducted hush-hush. Even their meeting was conducted in the private room. They were finalising small details of her contract. Even her soon to be bosses are eagerly waiting to see her on the soapie,” adds the source.
The former Isono actress is the latest star to join the soapie after Champions actress Kgomotso Christopher.

The actress Didintle Khunou joins Generations: The Legacy after the departures of Muzi Mthabela, Ronnie Nyakale and Kope Makgae.
Makgae played Mrekza while Nyakale played Cosmo and Mthabela portrayed the character of Nkosiyabo Cele.
Limpopo-born actor Kope Makgae has joined e.tv’s latest telenovela, Isiphetho: Destiny as Chef Mosa.
While Mthabela has scored the role of Mshengu’s brother, Mqondisi Shabalala in Mzansi Magic’s My Brother’s Keeper. The former Imbewu: The Seed actor will make his dramatic entry from 10 May.
IOL also confirmed the departures of actors Buntu Petse, Karabo Maseko, Rebaone Kgosimore and Zizipho Buti in late 2023.
“The characters of Nontle, Luyolo, Tracy and Paul can still be seen on our screen until the end of November/early December when a dramatic story arc reaches a mind-blowing conclusion,” said the SABC.
The actors who played the characters of Nontle, Luyolo, Tracy and Paul were excluded from season ten.
