The award-winning amapiano duo of DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small – affectionately known as Scorpion Kings is trending after their recent set went viral.
The two recently performed together, and Mzansi was more than convinced they no longer have the vibe after their rumoured ‘beef.’
RUMOURED FALLOUT
In 2023, the two reportedly had a fallout against the backdrop of DJ Maphorisa’s Instagram Lives. The celebrated DJ had a series of Instagram Lives where he seemingly took a swipe at Kabza De Small.
DJ Maphorisa also said he was not accountable for Kabza De Small’s whereabouts. In one of his Instagram sessions, he said, “Don’t you know he has his own house? He bought a house and has his own studio. Am I supposed to be living for Kabza? Are you crazy?”
He seemingly claimed to have thrust Kabza De Small into the limelight. Against the claims, Kabza De Small reportedly distanced himself from the DJ. The two seemingly directed their bookings to their respective record labels amid the rumours.
On the other hand, they have been performing more separately than before. However, against the news, Kabza De Small rubbished the news and made it known that the two were good.
DJ Maphorisa also took to social media to clap back at the rumours. Surprisingly, an album is on the cards for the duo. The renowned Amapiano duo will release an album amid beef rumours.
The last project they did together was in 2023, The Konka Mixtape. The two took to social media to announce the news of the album. A few weeks ago, they had the opportunity to hang out with DJ Black Coffee and other celebrated DJs.

However, the two are trending after their recent set went viral. The video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped online. Mzansi was more than convinced that the vibe was no longer there.
Netizens were more than convinced their body language proved they were not on good terms. There is also another video of the two making the rounds on social.
