The Say So hitmaker is topping trends in the backdrop of her recent interview. In a now-viral video clip from her recent interview, she opened up about her South African lineage and revealed why she hasn’t visited South Africa.
Doja Cat revealed that she has South African roots and made it known that her father was born in Durban, South Africa. Against her admission, she was asked why she hadn’t visited the country.

In the backdrop of the question, the Los Angeles-born star revealed that she relies on her career to throw her out to places. Many were more than convinced she might not come to South Africa if she was not booked despite confirming to be South African.
