Education minister makes last minute plea to thousands of WA teachers planning to go on strike

Education Minister Tony Buti has made a last minute “plea” to teachers not to strike on Tuesday — saying at the very least education support schools need to remain open.

“We made another last ditch plea with the union yesterday to see if we could ensure that they remain open,” Dr Buti said on Saturday.
