Ella May Ding: MAFS bride brandishes illegal Vush sex toy in Bali

Former Married at First Sight bride Ella May Ding has caused a stir on holiday in Bali, advertising her new range of sex toys — illegal in Indonesia.

In partnership with fellow MAFS bride Domenica Calarco, Ding’s Vush brand launched last week after being in the works for over 12 months.

Since the launch, she hasn’t shied away from advertising it far and wide, with numerous Instagram posts anticipating the release.

In an Instagram story, Ding advertises the phallic contraband alongside her podcast — which she co-hosts with Calarco.

An anonymous user was bewildered by the Instagram stories, taking to Facebook to share their perplexity.

“Guess she doesn’t know having sex toys is illegal in Bali, let alone advertising them,” one said.

“Way to ruin a holiday.”

On July 18, Ding and Calarco launched their expansive collaboration: “Happy launch day, guys!”

“This collaboration with Vush has been in the works for over 12 months, and we feel so blessed and lucky to share it with you finally!

“We wanted to share this toy with everyone! No matter your preference — internal, external or even from behind, nothing is off-limits with our twist vibe, and we’re confident that it will take your self-pleasure game to the NEXT level!”

Opinions were split on the controversial joint business venture.

“Are you so desperate for money that you must degrade yourself and all women? How sad,” one said.

Others were supportive: “Congratulations, babeesss, you both are killing it 🔥❤️ (sic).“

The pair explained in-depth the complexities of their breakthrough device.

“As many of you know — we’ve teamed up with VUSH to create a twist vibrator that brings you the best of both worlds! It’s been created just as we like it, so we know you’ll vibe with it, too,” they said.

“With a gyrating tip, four twist modes, eight pleasure-optimised patterns and five levels of intensity — we have no doubt you’ll find your perfect match.”

This isn’t the first time Ding has branched out into the business world, launching her perfume range Vixen.

However, she hasn’t been without her share of controversy. She came under fire earlier this month for saying mindfulness helped cancer patients treat their illnesses.

In an episode of the Sit With Us podcast called Practising Gratitude, Ding and fellow host Calarco discussed the impact positive thinking has on health.

“We can program our brains to do pretty much anything,” Ding said.

“Your mind can kill you. It can make you sick. If you’re sick in whatever way it may be, whether it’s with illness, if you have cancer, or if you have depression, you can literally make yourself sicker by focusing on how sick you are. You can end up terminally ill.

“(Joe Dispenza) has hundreds of case studies of people who were sick with cancer, and he literally trained them just to imagine not being sick.

“Imagine the cancer is leaving your body. Imagine the cells are going away. He’s literally cured patients without chemotherapy.”
