Fair Work Commission orders pay rises up to 28.5 per cent for aged care nurses

Aged care staff will receive a significant pay bump on top of last year’s 15 per cent increase after the Fair Work Commission ruled their work had been historically undervalued because it was mostly done by women.

Unions and aged care employers have lauded the win as a historic improvement for grossly underpaid workers.
