Family and domestic violence offences in WA up 41 per cent compared to five year average

Family and domestic violence offences from the past nine months are up 41 per cent on the five year average for the same period, underlining WA’s crisis situation.

The 29,020 offences, comprising family-related assault and threatening behaviour, is also a 36.5 per cent jump on the 21,358 such offences recorded two years ago.
