Family’s plea as Donna Nelson marks one year in Japanese prison following drug offences arrest

After a year of not being able to talk to their mother following her arrest in Japan for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs into the country, Donna Nelson’s family says they miss her and want her home.

Thursday marks exactly one year since the Perth grandmother was allegedly caught with 1.9kg of methamphetamine inside her suitcase at Narita Airport in Tokyo.
