Feed Me Morley: Two-week food festival celebrates Morley’s diverse food culture

More than 20 restaurants, cafes and eateries are getting ready to dish up their finest food as Morley prepares to celebrate cultural diversity with its two-week food festival, Feed Me Morley.

Progress Street Precinct and Coventry Village will be abuzz with live music and children’s entertainment, while Food Loose Tours will offer walking tours to some of Morley’s most authentic eateries.

More than 10 restaurants, including Wang’s Treasure House, Little Viet, and King Hotpot will be participating in the foodie festivities.

Select restaurants will also offer special promotions.

Bayswater mayor Filomena Piffaretti said Feed Me Morley was an opportunity to discover Morley’s “hidden culinary gems”.

“Morley has long been a destination that foodies flock to to enjoy the great range of multicultural restaurants on offer,” she said.

“Food enthusiasts can also book guided tours to explore the diverse flavours that make Morley unique and unlock special promotions at participating restaurants.

“We’re delighted to partner with and support our participating local businesses to highlight the delicious offerings available in our very own backyard.”

The 2021 census found the City of Bayswater was Perth’s fifth-most culturally diverse local government area, with 37.7 per cent of its residents born overseas.

Feed Me Morley will run from March 9-24.
