ST. LOUIS — Local Breweries are battling it out for blood. The Metro St. Louis Battle of the Breweries Blood Drive benefiting the American Red Cross takes place Thursday, May 9, from 1-6 pm. Individuals who donate blood can vote for their favorite participating brewery. The winning brewery that wins the friendly competition will earn a trophy, and blood donors will get a free t-shirt.
Those who take part and donate blood may visit any of the eight Red Cross locations May 9, between 1-6 pm.
- St. Louis City: The Bellwether
- Brentwood: Mid County YMCA
- Florissant: American Red Cross blood donation center
- St Charles: Embassy Suites St Charles
- South County: South County YMCA
- Crystal City: Elks Lodge 1721
- Franklin County: Sullivan Bank in St Clair
- Illinois: O’Fallon Illinois YMCA
Appointments can be made through the Red Cross Blood Donor App, RedCrossBlood.org, of by calling 1-800 Red Cross.
