While not aquatic experts, in a pinch, they can paddle effectively using a doggy paddle technique. This survival skill likely comes in handy when escaping predators or navigating flooded burrows. Interestingly, there’s even a champion swimmer in the rabbit world – the aptly named swamp rabbit – who thrives in wetland habitats and readily uses swimming to navigate its watery home.
