Police have successfully rescued eight people who became stranded in “challenging terrain” in the WA outback — marking the second major operation involving the Tjuntjunjarra Aboriginal community this year.
Kalgoorlie police raised the alarm for the missing people from the remote community, before confirming on Thursday afternoon they had been rescued and returned home.
