Berry shared a sunny-day selfie to Instagram, telling followers that if they had complaints about her look, they could go directly to her partner. “Sunday serve…my man loves this. Forward all complaints to him,” Berry wrote. Her hair is styled in a full, fluffy cloud of curls around her face — a major departure for Berry, who is best known for her iconic pixie cut. Berry is totally barefaced in the photo, and the hazy, softly lit vibe of the selfie gives it a dreamy summer-in-the-’70s quality.

While Berry may have alluded to complaints about the style in her caption, her comments were absolutely flooded with compliments. “You could be bald and you will always look amazing, kudos to your man for this look, you wear it well!” wrote one follower. “Yes Yes Yes .. Love Love Love Love This .. Go On Girllll You On,” wrote another, who added lots of fire emojis to really drive their point home. Berry may be synonymous with short hair, but this is the kind of look that stops you in your scroll and absolutely requires a double-tap.
