Hero Motocorp launches Xtreme 125R at Rs 95,000: Price, mileage, speed and other features

Hero Motocorp launched the new Xtreme 125R in India on January 23 at a starting price of Rs 95,000 (for the IBS variant, ex-showroom, Delhi). The ABS one is priced at Rs 99,500.

The Xtreme 125R will be available in three colours – Cobalt Blue, Firestorm Red, and Stallion Black, the company said.

“It is ahead of its curve, when it comes to styling codes in the 125cc segment,” a Hero Motocorp statement said.

A 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine powers the new bike. It can produce 11.5 bhp and 10.5Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The Hero Xtreme 125R sports 37mm telescopic forks on the front. It has a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. While front brakes are disc ones, the rear has an option of either a drum or a disc.

The bike comes with a low-slung LED headlamp. It has a split-seat setup.

It offers full-LED lighting, the company said at the launch.

The Xtreme125R will be available at dealerships starting February 20.

According to a company statement, it can go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. It fuel efficiency is an impressive 66 km/l.
