How to cook the perfect steak… in the air fryer!

AIR FRYER STEAK BY STEPH DE SOUSA What You Need: – Your favourite cut of steak, 1 inch thick, about 250g (no bone) – 1 tsp smoked paprika – 1 tsp cumin – 1 heaped tsp salt – 1 tsp pepper – Olive oil, to coat – 2 tbsp butter ### What You Do: 1. Take your steak out of the fridge and its wrapper 1 hour before cooking to let it come to room temperature. 2. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes. Yes, preheating is a must this time! 3. While the air fryer heats up, coat your steak with olive oil and sprinkle on the smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Give it a good rub to make sure the seasoning sticks. 4. Place the steak in the heated air fryer and cook for 4 minutes. Get ready for some delicious aromas! 5. After 4 minutes, flip the steak and cook for another 4 minutes. 6. Once cooked, wrap the steak in aluminium foil with a dollop of butter and let it rest for 5 minutes. This locks in all those yummy juices! 7. Unwrap, serve, and enjoy your mouth-watering air fryer steak! 👉 Note: The timing mentioned is for a medium-rare steak that is 1 inch thick. For medium, add 1 minute to each side. For medium-well, add 2 minutes to each side. For well-done, add 3 minutes to each side. You won’t believe how juicy and delicious your steak will be! 🤤
