For this image, taken for InStyle in 2015, Parr shot an older woman rather than the usual younger models. ‘Younger people, generally speaking, can’t afford expensive jewellery,’ he points out. The shoot has classic Parr playfulness. ‘We had people sipping tea, playing whist … And just, you know, put the jewellery among it all’
