Candidates who had appeared in the Board exams can check their results directly by going to the website and entering their personal credentials such as course, UID, and index number.

ICSE Class 10 result 2024 out: How did students perform this year?

The ICSE Examination, which covers 60 written subjects, features a diverse curriculum that includes 20 Indian languages, 13 foreign languages, and one classical language. The examination lasted 18 days, beginning on February 21, 2024, and ending on March 28, 2024, giving students ample opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills across a variety of subjects.
A total of 2,695 schools submitted candidates for the ICSE (Class X) Year 2024 Examination, with an impressive 82.48% (2,223) achieving a 100% pass rate, demonstrating the dedication and commitment of both students and educators. In addition, 2,503 Examination Centres and 709 Evaluation Centres were established to ensure that the examination and assessment processes ran smoothly.
In terms of candidate participation, 2,43,617 students took the ICSE exam, with 53.57% (1,30,506) boys and 46.43% (1,13,111) girls, indicating a balanced representation of genders. Impressively, the pass percentage was 99.47%, with 2,42,328 candidates passing the exam, demonstrating the student cohort’s overall proficiency and readiness.

ICSE Class 10th region-wise result 2024 analysis

The ICSE examination results 2024 provide information about performance in various regions of India. In the Northern region, which includes states such as Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi & NCR, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, 82,481 students took the exam, with 572 (0.69%) failing.
Moving to the Eastern region, which includes states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and the northeastern states, 81,909 students appeared for the exam, with a pass percentage of 99.31%. However, 573 students (0.76%) did not pass.
In the Western region of India, comprising states such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Goa, the pass percentage stands at a remarkable 99.91%, with only 33,590 students out of 33,619 successfully passing the examination.
Meanwhile, the Southern region, encompassing Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and the union territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry, witnessed a pass percentage of 99.88%, with 51,257 out of 51,318 students passing.
In terms of gender distribution, the Southern region takes the lead with the highest percentage of girls, accounting for 49.52% of those who appeared in the examination.
