A 22-year-old model and influencer has revealed her newborn’s unusual name — but is it her most bizarre choice yet?
Nara Smith and her husband Lucky Blue Smith welcomed their baby girl in an Instagram post on April 11 alongside her eagerly awaited name — Whimsy Lou.
The wholesome video was captioned: “Our little angel has arrived! Meet Whimsy Lou Smith 🤍” and showed short adorable glimpses of family life with the new addition.
The family is notorious for their interesting name choices with Nara and Lucky sharing three-year-old Rumble Honey and two-year-old Slim Easy. Lucky’s first-born daughter with his previous partner is named Gravity Blue.
While many were congratulating the couple in the comments and loved the name, others could not get past it.
“These names are atrocious,” one wrote.
Two weeks prior, the lifestyle influencer had posted a video of her and her husband, showing off her large belly with the caption, “boy and girl baby name suggestions? 🧚🏽♀️”
Fans seemed to make light of the question as the video received almost nine million views and boasted thousands of comments.
“From scratch smith,” one commented.
“Maple Sirup smith,” wrote another.
“Encyclopedia for a girl & Judge Judy for a boy,” a third suggested.
Nara has gained a following of 2.3 million on Instagram and 5.2 million on TikTok through her calming cooking videos where she tends to make anything and everything from scratch.
The famous couple married in February 2020 in a whirlwind wedding after six months of knowing each other.
